Heinz is the mastermind behind The Java Specialists' Newsletter. He has a PhD in Computer Science. Heinz has programmed significant portions of several large Java applications and has taught Java to thousands of professional programmers. He is a regular speaker at all the major Java conferences.

Heinz was chosen as a Java Champion by Sun Microsystems, the inventors of Java, for his work in advancing Java.

Heinz presents our Java training courses anywhere in the world, either in person or via remote teaching technologies. He is the author of all our courses, including Java Specialist Master, Design Patterns and Concurrency Specialist Courses.

Heinz is fluent in English and German.

Helene is in charge of Heinz and acts as a sounding board for his many crazy ideas.

Herman has programmed in Java since 1998. He has a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) Degree in Computer Science. Herman's specialities are Swing and Eclipse GUIs.

Herman presents our Java training courses in South Africa and is certified instructor of The Java Specialist Master, Design Patterns and Fundamental Java courses.

Maurice Naftalin has three decades' experience in software development. He has worked in industry as a programmer, designer and team leader, in university life as a teacher and researcher, and has trained programmers for Learning Tree and Sun. He is co-author of "Java Generics and Collections" (pub O'Reilly).

Maurice is a certified instructor of The Java Specialist Master, Design Patterns and Concurrency Specialist Courses.

Olivier fell in love with Java ten years ago, and has been working and playing with it since then, trying to shed some light on the most obscure parts of the language and platform. Olivier holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science and the Sun Certified Java Programmer exam with a perfect score (100%).

Olivier is a certified instructor of The Java Specialist Master and Concurrency Specialist Courses.

Álvaro is a passionate software developer and open source advocate. He started developing with Java in 2000. He's an experienced instructor in several computer-related fields such as security, databases and, of course, programming in Java. His main Java interests are performance, concurrency, modularization and software architecture. Álvaro has developed software projects in Spain and Latin America, and is fluent in both Spanish and English.

Larry has 25 years experience in software development. He first started coding in Java during 1996. In the past most of his projects were C++ and he realized the major benefit of both the Java the language and the platform. He continually strives to learn how to be a better software craftsmen and loves to share his knowledge with others.

David has a BS in Computer Science from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, which he completed in 1998. Since then, David has participated in telco projects, e-commerce, banking, defense and ground transport systems. He has pioneered web projects, SOA backbones, client applications and integration gateways.

David is a certified instructor of The Java Specialist Master Course.
