3.30 Updated Copyright Notices

Juppies 2 by Dr Heinz M. Kabutz

Whenever we write and publish code, we do need to consider under what license we want to do this. There are a lot of different well-known licenses, and it is always best to take one of those. Some are more business-friendly than others. The one that I often use for code that I want to share is Apache 2, which is quite a permissive license, meaning that companies can use that in their work without paying me royalties. We can set this up in NetBeans so that all new files are automatically created with our preferred license header.

Even though we did not change any code, we still test our code. Can't be careful enough!
